It's been a while...

...I know... Aside from the normal rigors of everyday life (that everyone goes through), I find myself at a loss of what to say... I do know that I am happily married to the best friend I have ever had (which I try to tell her as many times as I can!), and that we are doing quite well...

.

Something of a cliche in England is that the skies are nearly always overcast, and rain is almost always falling or "on the way"... and after living here for over a year now, I can attest to the truthfulness of that... the thing that really gets you however, is that the occasional day where there is more blue in the skies than clouds, it has to be one of he most beautiful sky I have ever seen... which brings this to last Saturday... it was a clear, beautiful day... and the pictures below were taken on that day... enjoy!

New Addition...

It is official, we have our kitty, Mila... we picked up our little one on Friday, and she has taken the weekend to become acclimated to her new family and surroundings... she has done rather well, as the following pictures taken in our home can attest to...

She will destroy this plant someday... I believe this is apparent in her gaze... we are prepared for this inevitability...

She always seems comfortable in the hands of Kacie...

We are really happy to have her home now... she definitely adds an element of activity to the house that we have lacked in the past... it's going to be an adventure, that's for sure...!
